We don’t quite know who started this, but it definitely is cool. Your attitude and fantasy amazes us all the time, including this one! Let’s look closer at this story about tough cars and motorbikes and their owners who like to take photos of their metal beasts.
Recently Instagram users have found out how wonderful their cars and motorbikes look being turned into a pencil sketch. Many of them used our ‘Pencil vs Reality’ photo effect made after the Ben Heine’s pencil vs camera photography series. The result was literally magnificent and we are glad to share some of these photos with all Pho.to fans. Do you remember we announced the release of our dual camera app for iOS? We are proud to tell all Android users that phoTWO is already available on Google Play! The app helps you make a stylish dual cam collages by adding a portrait photo to a previously taken image. You can also take photos with both front and rear cameras in optional order. Editor mode now works all the time. Besides, phoTWO for Android has acquired a decent collection of photo frames. You can share your photos to a number of popular social networks right from the app. The last but not least, phoTWO is absolutely free.
Pho.to Lab PRO and PRO HD versions for iOS have recently acquired new marvelous features. These features are already available in the free version of Pho.to Lab, and now PRO users are also up-to-date with the changes. The update of both apps includes a new Editor mode with extensive collection of tools that let you enhance and adjust your images quickly and easily. Now you can add a customizable text and funny stickers to a photo. Don’t forget to check our new “Draw on photo” feature.

Every time we introduce a new version of any product we hope that you will find it as good and usable as we meant it to be. Today’s review is devoted to Pho.to Lab for iPhone/iPad, recently updated to version 2.1. This new release is inspired by approaching Christmas days and adapted to cover your possible holiday needs for festive effects and templates.
First things first. This update comes with new sliding tabs on the home screen for quick access to favorite and holiday effects. Slide left to see most popular effects or slide right to see the best Christmas frames and filters.
Emotions often show more than words can say. So why not pin a shot of yourself over your photo instead of making up a description of your feelings every time? That’s what has been engaging our minds here at Pho.to for quite a while and that’s exactly what our new app for iPhone called phoTWO is for.
In three steps you get the collage that tells your friends the whole story: where you are, who you are with and how you feel about it (OK, not the whole, but very close to that, right?). Easy as 1-2-3: ‘one’ lets you take the main picture, ‘two’ brings you to the front camera for the next “emotion” snap and ‘three’ enables you to do some editing and save the result.

They aimed at turning your photos into paintings and drawings imitating a chosen technique. You can process your photo with seven of them: Trois Couleurs Drawing, Sanguine Drawing, Vintage Charcoal Sketch, Pastel Drawing, Graphite Pencil Sketch, Felt Tip Pen Drawing and Crayon Drawing.
Starting from now, all the listed effects are available in every version of Pho.to Lab: free, PRO and PRO HD, but with one tiny difference: though you can apply any of these effects in any version, you must be a PRO user to be able to save the result to your gallery, instantly share it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram or send it via email.
And one more change related to this major update: effects from “Featured Sketches and Paintings” group at Funny.Pho.to service will have a limited functionality very soon. You will be able only to preview, not save or share the result. The only way to save and share the result is through the mobile app. This said, install the latest version of Pho.to Lab, take great pictures and make them even better right on your phone!
