This column in the blog is probably our favorite, because when we choose pictures for such posts we always discover new gifted photographers (or mobilographers, as you wish). Here are images that impressed us this time.

The most amusing selfies taken with the phoTWO app

We are really happy to see beautiful images created with the help of our apps. To our excitement, the number of cool phoTWO images on Instagram is rapidly increasing and we can’t but share the best of them with you.

If you still don’t know what phoTWO is, have a look at this post. In brief, this is a collage selfie app for both iOS and Android that allows you to take photos with front and back cameras of your phone and merge them together in one magnificent collage. It was created for those who take photos and thereby always remains offscreen. It’s also a good idea to take phoTWO images if you want to make a visual comment on something, shown in the main photo: e.g., to show the emotions that you experience at the moment.

New Trend in Car Photography: #carvsreality

We don’t quite know who started this, but it definitely is cool. Your attitude and fantasy amazes us all the time, including this one! Let’s look closer at this story about tough cars and motorbikes and their owners who like to take photos of their metal beasts.

Photos taken by owners of cool cars and edited with mobile photo editor Pho.to.Lab and pencil vs reality photo effect

Recently Instagram users have found out how wonderful their cars and motorbikes look being turned into a pencil sketch. Many of them used our ‘Pencil vs Reality’ photo effect made after the Ben Heine’s pencil vs camera photography series. The result was literally magnificent and we are glad to share some of these photos with all Pho.to fans. You can see more photos by clicking #pencilvsreality #pencilvscamera and #carvsreality hashtags on your Instagram.

For sure we have changed much more than just the background image, but (as we see it) it is the first thing you gonna notice. Next go tweaked menu buttons and font, neater interface icons and more. All in all every detail is now fully in trend with iOS 7, giving you the whole new experience when working with familiar retouch tools and photo filters.

Speaking of functionality, there has not been any changes actually. Inside you will find the same easy steps to remove red eyes, face shine, imperfections and wrinkles and add some makeup, the same popular filters to give your portrait the final touch and rich sharing opportunities to send the result to your friends. Let your photos express what you feel with phoTWO

Emotions often show more than words can say. So why not pin a shot of yourself over your photo instead of making up a description of your feelings every time? That’s what has been engaging our minds here at Pho.to for quite a while and that’s exactly what our new app for iPhone called phoTWO is for.

In three steps you get the collage that tells your friends the whole story: where you are, who you are with and how you feel about it (OK, not the whole, but very close to that, right?). Easy as 1-2-3: ‘one’ lets you take the main picture, ‘two’ brings you to the front camera for the next “emotion” snap and ‘three’ enables you to do some editing and save the result.
